Ian Hiscocks –
This was a really nice filament to print with, printing well at 50mm/s it could print a little faster up to 65mm/s with care. It handled bridging and overhangs well, only a minimum of stringing and gave a nice surface finish to the parts. The temperature range is 180-210 and most colours print well at 195, the odd one or two needing upto 205 for best surface finish, and will print well on a heated with just hairspray a non heated bed may need a good adhesive. Any clean up was easy and blended in well with a sharp knife and simple files. There are some nice colours in the range including bright colours and metallics the Bronze gold has a really nice hue, varying colour slightly depending on light direction and looks very nice especially for Xmas decorations or for any trophies etc. After testing this filament it is now one of my goto PLA filaments for quality building, and for repeatable testing when trying out different size Nozzles to finding the correct preferred settings. For the price including P&P the 1kg reel is very good value, you also get a medium size ziplock bag to keep the reel sealed in when not in use to prevent moisture absorption. If you have some serious printing to do, or if you or the children just want to have a good play with your printer this is a good quality filament to do it with and in some very nice colours.
