Description
3D Filaprint Premium PLA. Low warp, easy to print. The filament spool is bagged, sealed and boxed. Ensuring that it arrives with you moisture free and ready to print.
Fantastic layer bonding, low temperature printing, no heated platform is necessary as it lays down beautifully on the majority of FFF/FDM 3D printer platform surfaces.
Superb tolerances with a smooth finish, a perfect compliment to your 3D printer.

PLA
Overview
PLA is easy to print, at low cost. Non-toxic and Eco friendly. A perfect starting point for people new to 3D printing.
PLA is created from all-natural renewable resources, and under the correct conditions, is fully biodegradable. This material is typically used for prototypes or decorative prints; Due to the low temperatures and ease of use, features tend to print sharper and more detailed. Its non-toxic nature means that it can be printed for food and medical applications if done so from a sterile and sanitized environment.
However, PLA prints are prone to snapping and breaking under pressure, and become damaged and discolored from high temperatures and prolonged exposure to sunlight or water.

Prints very easily. On my Prusa i3 MK3 (I printed using the Prusa PLA profile) I didn’t even have to add any adhesive to the print plate, and could still print at full speed, with perfect first layers. It was also easy to remove the prints when done. Remarkable. I tested charging the plastic using a UV torch, a cheap 12-LED, powered by 3 new AAA batteries. After one minute the filament glowed very strongly in the dark, with an eerie green colour. However, it did not glow for very long; after an hour it was almost completely dark again (but perhaps this is OK, considering it just got one minut of UV exposure). I deduce one star for the short glow time, but apart from that I think it’s a very good product.
