Description
When you need more strength and impact resistance than your regular PLA, coupled with a very smooth finish.
IMPACT + PLA is engineered for its high impact and strength like ABS, though with the stiffness of a PLA. The material shows excellent results in layer adhesion and is the perfect match for tooling or manufacturing aids where a high impact is needed. It is printable across a wide range of temperatures.
Having printed several test pieces, we also found that FilaPrint Impact + PLA 3D printing filament, has the rigidity to allow you to tappet the material as shown in the photo below.

Adhesion is possible on many different surfaces. IMPACT + PLA can be used on all common desktop FDM or FFF technology 3D printers.
STORAGE:
Cool and dry (15-25°C) and away from UV light. This enhances the shelf life significantly.

Overview
PLA is easy to print, at low cost. Non-toxic and Eco friendly. A perfect starting point for people new to 3D printing.
PLA is created from all-natural renewable resources, and under the correct conditions, is fully biodegradable. This material is typically used for prototypes or decorative prints; Due to the low temperatures and ease of use, features tend to print sharper and more detailed. Its non-toxic nature means that it can be printed for food and medical applications if done so from a sterile and sanitized environment.
However, PLA prints are prone to snapping and breaking under pressure, and become damaged and discolored from high temperatures and prolonged exposure to sunlight or water.
