Description
PLA MATT is an easy to print variant on the everyday material PLA and exists for >70% out of recycled Post-Industrial PLA. Its surface diffuses light to give it a matt look and creates a rough feeling. PLA matte is slightly abrasive, please consider using a hardened nozzle. This material can be printed on most common printers and has a reliable bed adhesion to most common build plate materials.

There are times when you may require a quality filament that has very low light refraction. Even though we love all our wonderful quality PLA filaments, we have sometimes required a filament which had a plain matte finish, making it look less like plastic!
With this new filament offering we are able to provide you with a filament that is very easy to print even on a cold bed, has superb layer adhesion and a semi textured finish. It does not reflect light and has a finish that is perfect for some architectural and mechanical pieces.
Great for model building, it also has excellent flexural strength for a PLA material, which means in can take a knock or two. Layers lines are almost invisible (even when printing at 0.2mm layer height with a standard 0.4mm nozzle).
This 1kg of filament spool is shrink wrapped, boxed and shrink wrapped yet again! Ensuring that it arrives with you moisture free and ready to print.
Fantastic layer bonding, low temperature printing, no heated platform necessary, lays down beautifully on the majority of FFF/FDM 3D printer platform surfaces.
Superb tolerances with a smooth finish, a perfect compliment to your 3D printer.

PLA
Overview
PLA is easy to print, at low cost. Non-toxic and Eco friendly. A perfect starting point for people new to 3D printing.
PLA is created from all-natural renewable resources, and under the correct conditions, is fully biodegradable. This material is typically used for prototypes or decorative prints; Due to the low temperatures and ease of use, features tend to print sharper and more detailed. Its non-toxic nature means that it can be printed for food and medical applications if done so from a sterile and sanitized environment.
However, PLA prints are prone to snapping and breaking under pressure, and become damaged and discolored from high temperatures and prolonged exposure to sunlight or water.

This filament is printing very well and easy for sanding. When you touch this pla is like wood filament more than normal pla. I tested many pla in black and was looking for black matte. The problem is colour of this filament. It is not a black. I will say is black going more in graphite /dark grey . I have 2 rolls 2.3 kg and can not use them for my projects because strong difference between real black and this filament.

50% cheaper than other matt pla filaments. I don’t find it grey at all, it is darker than other matt filaments. I print functional products and this is as black as I want them to be. At this price this is the best choice.
