Description
Fillamentum ABS Extrafill is a material for the FFF (also known as FDM) 3D printing technology.
The advantage of this material is that it can be used in 3D printers easily, for high quality of printing even in tricky details, plus excellent lamination of the printed object.
ABS filament is a polymer which is ideal for the production of the first functional samples before serial production for functional prototyping, manufacturing tools, but also for the production of goods for everyday use.
Use of the ABS material in the food industry is dependent on the final product and responsibility for use is on the user of ABS Extrafill. ABS is not intended for medical applications.
Fillamentum guarantees high precision of filament dimensions within the tolerance of +/- 0,05 mm, which is strictly controlled throughout the production.
Printing filaments reported on the market under the trademark Fillamentum are produced in a wide variety of colours in accordance with the colour charts RAL and Pantone, and also in own unique colour ranges.

Good stuff, but….
Again I’d have to say the same points from the Orange Fillamentum filament; Great stuff, but has faults. On the plus side the colour is vivid, not fluorescent (like I was hoping) but certainly a very rich and attractive shade of yellow. It’s also really easy to print with, if you get the settings right; on my Zortrax M200s I turn the fan down to about 60% (otherwise it has a habit of delaminating) and decreased the first layer to 0.15/0.16mm (otherwise it has the nasty habit of peeling off the raft). Aside from those two little niggles it’s really good stuff. BUT…. there’s one problem with this, and the other Fillamentum filaments I’ve used too. When the roll is full or down to around 85% full the filament has a nasty habit of jumping off the reel and wrapping itself around the filament holder. That means unless you watch it like a hawk you get the funnnnnnnnnnnn job of either stopping the print (therefore wasting filament) or trying to untangle it while it’s still printing. This is possible…. but a huge pain. On the whole I’d recommend all the Fillamentum filaments if you want easy to print, richly coloured filaments especially for the price. All I’d say is… don’t leave the printer unattended until you’ve used it for a while!
