The thickness of the PLA filament is 1.75 mm or 2.85 mm and it is produced in more than 30 different shades.
PLA (polylactic acid) filament for 3d printing is a versatile, easy-to-use material and is usually used in 3D printing. PLA filament is bio-plastic, which means that it is a renewable and biodegradable material. As a biodegradable material, it is much better for the environment, especially in comparison with petrochemical alternatives (eg. ABS). For good results, it is necessary to print at a temperature of 190-210 ÔøΩ C and the printing table should be heated to 50-60 ÔøΩ C. Please note that the temperature range of the print media may slightly differ depending on the use of other printers.
Our PLA filament for printers is specially designed to make it easy to use for all beginners and novices. We recommend that a newcomer keeps using the PLA printing filament because it is truly the most accessible and easy to use. It is a good material because it has excellent properties and it does not shrink when printing. In addition, it fits nicely to the printing table. ABS filament is a great alternative, but it does shrink, so you’ll have more problems with the grip of the filament on the printing table. PLA filament is a material that is distinguished by a gloss finish, and therefore it is also used for the printing of decorative elements.
Our PLA filament is compatible with almost all 3D printers, including RepRap and MakerBot printers, Airwolf3D, Makergear, Printrbot, CraftBot Idex, Flashforge, Type A Machines and many more.
PLA 3d printing filament is the best-selling product out of the 3D filaments used for 3D printing with a good reason, since it is used in a wide range of 3D printing. Its advantages are that it is odourless, easy to print and does not require a heated table when printing.
Printing temperature: 190-210 ÔøΩ C
Platform temperature: 50-60 ÔøΩ C – A cold platform can also be used when applying various bed adhesives.

Henry Nourse –
A surprisingly excellent PLA
I’m not going to lie, when I picked up this filament following all of Filaprint’s promotion for it I wasn’t expecting much, that it’d probably just be another cheap filament that’s the same as the others. Turns out I was very much wrong. This might have to be the best PLA I’ve had the pleasure to print with! Extrusion was beutiful, especially at around 195c, with practicially no artifacts whatsoever. What’s more, this was definitely one of the easiest filaments to use that I’ve encountereed. The white colour is very clean and solid, no issues there. I did have some minor issues with stringing, but nothing that couldn’t easily be fixed in the Slicer. My only real complaint would be that the reel itself, whilst very aesthetically pleasing with those giant holes, feels rather flimsy. All in all however, this AzureFilm seems to have nailed it with the best PLA I’ve ever used.
