INOX – Stainless Steel lookalike
Easy PLA is as it sounds, an easy to print PLA. A PLA that has great bonding qualities, superb layer finish, wonderful rich colours and rigidity without being too brittle.
Easy PLA fiberlogy 3D printing filament can be used for prototyping, modelling, architectural design works, toys, gadgets and many other 3D printing projects.
We are offering this refill option for those who are comfortable to purchase filament without it being pre-wound on a fixed spool. Though just because it is not wound on a fixed spool does not make it an inferior product, it does allow us to offer it cheaper than its fixed spool counterpart and feels better on the mind for reducing the amount of 3D printing filament spools that (may) end up just being thrown away.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the filament refill option, there is no better way to enlighten you than to point you in the direction of the creator of the “Masterspool” Richard Horne AKA Richrap. It is also a worthwhile watch if you have any reservations regarding the tangling of filaments.
There are several options for you in terms of spool creation, ready to use with your fiberlogy filament refill coil.
You have the original V4 Masterspool by Richard Horne – https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2769823
Or the specifically made spool for this 850gms fiberlogy refill pack – https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3097489
More Information on the fiberlogy refill pack.
The filament will arrive in a vacuum pack, with silica gel and boxed individually.

Difficult to stick to bed & had some knotting
I found this incredibly difficult to stick to the bed. I ended up making the print speed 60%, and raising the temp of the nozzle to 230*C before it would – bed temp at standard 60*C for PLA for me. Whilst it took a while for it to stick to the bed, it did seem to give good print quality after I had fixed the issues.

You nee a masterspool (or equivalent) before using this.
I brought a refill without having a masterspool and I had issues with inconsistent extrusion until…. After printing myself one (with a different filament of course) I had no issues and can confirm that the filament is good quality and not knotted. My package was tightly cable tied and securely vacuumed. Also, follow the video here to have a spool where you cut the cable ties after the refill is on the spool.
