Fillamentum Industrial expands its product portfolio with new Flexfill TPE, a thermoplastic elastomer based on polypropylene. Flexfill TPE is defined by completely different properties than Flexfill TPU based on thermoplastic polyurethane.

Fillamentum Industrial offers Flexfill TPE in two levels of hardness.

Shore 90A and Shore 96A. Both of the Flexfill TPE are different from TPU on the first look.  The matte surface of TPE is pleasant to touch comparing to Flexfill TPU which is glossy.

Flexfill TPE material safe for use for skin contact and food contact applications. Furthermore, Flexfill TPE 90A is officially certified for these applications.  Thanks to this fact the usage of this filament is endless.

Another  big advantage of TPE, is its chemical resistance.

Flexfill TPE resists to water, acids, alcohols and alkalis. Both of Flexfill TPE are washable and resistant against dirt.  Flexfill TPE also has great printability as you woudl expect from a Fillamentum product.  Flexfill TPE is a high quality 3D printing filament that keeps its dimensional stability. The filament promises strong adhesion in layers with a smooth matte finish.

We strongly recommend printing temperature in a range of 225c – 245 °C, temperature of hot bed 50 – 60 °C and a printing speed in 15 – 25 mm/s, depending on the printer.
