Description
A wonderful new filament from the amazing manufacturer Fillamentum. A very easy to print filament with extraordinary bonding quality, you will be “wowed” when you see the layer finish that you can achieve with this material.
Fillamentum PLA Extrafill is a 3D Printer Filament for the FFF (also known as FDM) 3D printing technology.
The advantage of this material is that it can be used in 3D printers easily, that it allows a high quality of printing even in tricky details and an excellent lamination of the printed object.
PLA filament is made of natural ingredients and is easily biodegradable by composing.
Fillamentum guarantees high precision of filament dimensions within the tolerance of +/- 0,05 mm, which is strictly controlled throughout the production.
Printing filaments reported on the marked under the trademark Fillamentum are produced in a wide variety of colours in accordance with the colour charts RAL and Pantone, and also in own unique colour ranges.

PLA
Overview
PLA is easy to print, at low cost. Non-toxic and Eco friendly. A perfect starting point for people new to 3D printing.
PLA is created from all-natural renewable resources, and under the correct conditions, is fully biodegradable. This material is typically used for prototypes or decorative prints; Due to the low temperatures and ease of use, features tend to print sharper and more detailed. Its non-toxic nature means that it can be printed for food and medical applications if done so from a sterile and sanitized environment.
However, PLA prints are prone to snapping and breaking under pressure, and become damaged and discolored from high temperatures and prolonged exposure to sunlight or water.

Voodoo indeed…!
This was another filament I saw listed and thought “well it looks lovely… but what would I use it for”. Decided to get some anyway and very glad I did! Like 99% of other Fillamentum PLAs it prints very cleanly with no issues, is really easy to work with and polishes up to a beautiful shine. But what really makes it special is the fact that different angles show more or less of one of the colours or the other, giving that chameleon-paint effect. My first thought was for some Obsidian Order earrings (shown in photos) and I’m sure there’ll be a lot more in the future. If you want something striking, deceptively strong and with that little bit of extra shine, I thoroughly recommend giving this a go!
