As we move forward in the ever growing world of 3D printing and numerous options of suppliers, we would like to highlight what we are proud of in regards to our products and service for the benefit of old and new customers.

We test materials before we stock them
We are committed to delivering only the highest quality materials to our valued customers. Before we stock any material, we conduct rigorous testing procedures to ensure its quality and reliability. We understand that while there may be cheaper alternatives available, compromising on quality is not an option for us. We prioritise the satisfaction and success of our customers, which is why we go the extra mile to source and test materials that meet our stringent standards.
It is not in our business interest to sell a material “that does not work”. Plus, we love to print ourselves on a daily basis! The filaments are tested on a wide range of 3D printers that we have built up over the past 10 years, to ensure compatibility across different types of hardware.
Our dedication to providing top-notch materials sets us apart in the industry, allowing us to confidently offer reliable solutions to our customers. At 3DfilaPrint Ltd., quality is our priority, and we believe in delivering nothing less to our valuable customers.

We serve large clients
Over the past 10 years we have had the absolute pleasure in providing quality filaments to some of the biggest names in industry and business. Many of the UK’s top universities, schools and academies are valued clients of 3D FilaPrint ltd, we just don’t feel comfortable to name them here due to client disclosure etc, though we are proud and very honoured to be in the position to offer our services to every single one of our amazing customers.

Design services & NDAs
We are proud to offer a low-cost design service that empowers our customers to bring their ideas to life. When you utilise our design service, we ensure that all rights to the completed model belong solely to you, the customer.
This means that you have the freedom to use the model as you see fit. Whether you want to print it yourself, rely on our printing services, or even sell the design, the choice is yours. If required, we are more than willing to sign Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) to protect your ideas and ensure their privacy. We do not want financial design constraints to be the reason why YOU do not bring the next amazing idea to 3D life! Without a design there is nothing to print.

Recycled materials
Over the years there has been a plethora of what is termed as “recycled” 3D printing filaments. Now more 3D filament manufacturers are doing what they can to reuse plastics, this could be plastics recycled from other industries or from their own manufacturing processes, known as post-processing of waste material.
With our recycled materials we offer both options, from suppliers such as Reflow, who in addition to other waste sources recycle materials from de-commissioned KLM airplanes! Then there is Francofil who offer super quality 3D printing filaments made from the crushed shells of mussels, scallops and the husk of the coffee bean plant, or even beer waste (hops).
We also stock PolyTerra from Polymaker, while not recycled, the spools are made from recycled cardboard. Polymaker also works with the one tree planted charity to plant a tree for every spool sold. Through 3D FilaPrint Ltd. orders, over 5000 trees have been planted.
Several of our professional manufactures, such as Polymaker, Proto-pasta, Fiberlogy have gone down the post-processing route and offer a recycled material from their own manufacturing waste. Though in limited colours, due to the inability to achieve a perfect RAL or Pantone match with each batch produced from post-processed material. From each spool manufactured you can get between 20-40gms of filament waste, which can then be re-extruded to create another spool of 3D printing material. Though you do have to add some virgin (new pellets) material to this waste to finally manufacturer a quality filament. Polymaker’s Edition R contains 30% recycled content and 70% virgin material which keeps the print quality consistent with the rest of their PolyTerra range. So by our calculations for every 30 spools manufactured one can produce another post-processed 1kg spool of branded (but not RAL or Pantoned) 3D printing filament.
Using up packaging from our manufacturers deliveries, for customer orders, is a great way for us to save on waste. It also helps save a bit of money, which we use to help keep our resale costs down. We only use new packaging materials and cardboard boxes when we have used up all our recycled items. Our customers have got used to receiving their packages in an array of branded sturdy boxes!

3D printed waste recycling service
3D FilaPrint Ltd are committed to promoting sustainability and responsible waste management in the 3D printing community. We understand that 3D printing waste can pose a challenge when it comes to proper disposal. That’s why we have partnered with Southend City Council and Plasticity to offer a convenient solution.
We gladly accept leftover 3D printing waste for recycling, including empty spools and various types of PLA waste such as rims, rafts, supports, and failed prints. We also accept modified PLAs like composites, PLA+, PLA, and PLA Pro. Recycling these materials helps reduce environmental impact and promotes a circular economy. We give customers 5% off their next order when they send in 1kg or more of used (or un-used, end of spools) 3D printing plastics for recycling.
